How to shop with The Gift-Mall

Using Your Virtual Shopping Cart

 To use your shopping cart several buttons are available on the pages of our on-line catalog:

‘Add Product’ Add the current product to your shopping cart.
Look in your shopping cart. The contents of your cart will be listed on your screen. It will be possible to modify the contents of your cart at this point.
‘Recalculate’ After making changes to your cart press the ‘Recalculate’ button to change the contents of your virtual shopping cart. The new contents of your cart will be listed on your screen.
‘Finish Shopping’ Order the products in your shopping cart. A form will appear for you to fill in.

Ordering

 To order the products in your shopping cart press the ‘Order Now!’ button. A form will appear for you to fill in your billing and shipment information. You may have the product shipped to someone else as a gift accompanied by a message.

While browsing this site there is NEVER any obligation to buy, even if you put products in your cart and press the order button.

Prices

 Prices are indicated in the 4 currencies in the table below.

Credit cards will be charged for the Euro (EUR) amounts, however this should be less than the amounts indicated in the other currencies (barring sudden currency volatility).

Prices are indicated excluding V.A.T. because V.A.T. is often not charged, see the V.A.T. section.

V.A.T. (Value Added Tax)

 V.A.T. is NOT charged in the following situations:
  • The products are to be shipped to a country outside of the European Union *, or
  • the products are ordered by a company from a European Union * country other than the Netherlands.
In all other situations we are obliged to levy VAT. Companies from the Netherlands can get V.A.T. (B.T.W.) back from the Dutch Tax office (Belastingdienst).

All prices are indicated excluding V.A.T.

*) European Union countries are Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Ireland, Great-Britain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Austria, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Cyprus and Malta.

Shipment Costs

 Shipment and handling costs are charged according to the destination of the product and consists of a base amount and a per item amount. Certain (lighter) products have no item charges. Item costs are only charged over the first 5 items, if you order more than 5 items the extra item costs are paid by The Gift-Mall.

There is an option to use Priority shipment instead of standard shipment. There is an extra charge per item. Priority shipment saves approximately 1 week outside of Europe and several days inside Europe.

Payment Options

 The following payment options are available:
  • Send your credit card details through a secure1 form
  • Pay using the online payment service facilitator Triple Deal.
    Depending our the country you live they may offer additional payment options, such as direct debit.
  • International money order (carries extra costs)
  • Transfer the amount by bank
  • Send cash through registered mail (small amounts only)
1) Credit card companies generally maximize card holder liabilities to 50 USD.

Delivery Times

 Delivery times can vary wildly depending on which country you live in and the products you purchase. When using priority shipment please allow for at least 3 weeks for delivery of your purchased items. Standard shipment will take several days longer in Europe and at least 1 week longer outside of Europe. Custom made items require an additional 2 to 3 weeks.

Languages

 Our staff at the Gift-Mall speak several languages, at least one person from our staff can help you in one of the following languages: English, Dutch, German or French.

Privacy

 The Gift-Mall, does not sell, share or distribute in any form, any personal information about it's customers. Personal customer information is only used to handle orders. Unless otherwise requested, customers do not receive e-mail from us after their order has been completed.

Browser Settings

 Since this is a catalog, you should set your browser to automatically load pictures, run JavaScript and as indicated below accept cookies (this is the default setting for most browsers). The Gift-Mall does not use any Java.

If you encounter any problems, please let us know. Indicate the browser and version you are using as well as the operating system you are running.

Virtual Shopping Cart

 While browsing through our Mall you have a virtual shopping cart waiting for you. Each cart has a unique number, which is given to your browser in a cookie. Look at our help page on cookies for more information on cookies, how to see their contents and how to remove them from your browser's memory.

Track the status of your order

 If you have a question about your order mail us.

Enter your order number below.
I.e. GM followed by 6 digits, a dot and 4 digits.
Our computer will then try to determine the status of your order.
