Delft blue china, also known as Delftware (or "Delfts blauw" in Dutch), is named after the city of Delft in Holland, where this technique was developed. Delft blue uses just the color blue, while the multicolored variant is called Delft color.

Each item is hand made and comes with a certificate of originality from the "Oud Delft" Delftware pottery and carries the "Oud Delft" signature.
